TL;DR
- Among Curviate alternatives for growth teams, Curviate Automate stays the pick: signals from Clay, RB2B or n8n start LinkedIn conversations on your team's own accounts.
- Curviate is $60 per LinkedIn account a month: $180 for three accounts, $300 for five, with no execution clock, inbox add-on or credit meter.
- Your stack adds the contact through the API, the right Motion picks them up, and webhooks report every accept and reply back.
A visitor from a target account hits your pricing page on Tuesday. By Wednesday someone on your team should be in their LinkedIn inbox, from the profile that already knows them. That is the job for a growth team, and Curviate Automate does it across your team's own accounts for $60 each. PhantomBuster, Waalaxy and Clay each do part of it well. I build Curviate.

How we picked
Growth teams rarely buy a LinkedIn tool on its own. It has to plug into the stack that already finds accounts worth a message. Four tests decided the order:
- Signal in. Can your enrichment table, website tracker or workflow start outreach without a CSV export?
- Result out. Does the tool tell your CRM or flow when someone accepts or replies?
- Several profiles, one plan. The founder's account and two teammates' accounts working one list, without double invites.
- Cost that holds still. The price at 1 to 5 accounts on monthly billing, and what happens when a meter runs out.
Four tools against those tests
| Feature | Curviate Automate | PhantomBuster | Waalaxy | Clay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How you pay | $60 per account | Flat plan, metered by execution hours | Per user, €39 to €139 | Flat plan, metered by actions and credits |
| LinkedIn sequences on several accounts | One Motion across all of them | Outreach campaigns, multiple accounts | Multiple senders on Business | Not stated on their site |
| Signal in from your stack | API adds contacts or sends a signal | Through n8n, Zapier or Make | API on Advanced | Webhooks on Growth |
| Webhook out on accept or reply | Not stated on their site | Not stated on their site | Not stated on their site | |
| One inbox for every account | Not stated on their site | €20 a month add-on | Not stated on their site | |
| Data extraction and enrichment | LinkedIn profiles | 15+ platforms, email finder | Email finder credits | Provider waterfalls, Claygent |
Clay wins the data row by a distance, and PhantomBuster comes second: both were built to collect and enrich. Curviate does not try to be a data provider. It wins the rows where a signal becomes a conversation and the result flows back.
What do 1, 3 and 5 accounts cost?
The pricing models differ, so only the per-seat tools get bars. Curviate charges per LinkedIn account and Waalaxy per user. PhantomBuster and Clay charge a flat workspace price, metered by how much the automations run.
PhantomBuster's plans are flat, not per account, so they have no bar: Start is €69, Grow €159 and Scale €439 a month on monthly billing. Start buys 5 automation slots and 20 hours of execution time a month, shared by every account and every scrape in the workspace, so each account you add leaves less time for the rest. When the hours run out, automations pause until the clock resets or you upgrade. Curviate's $60 has no execution clock: each account runs its Motions within its own LinkedIn limits, and the inbox, analytics and API are in the price.
Waalaxy is the other way round. Multiple sender accounts sit on Business at €139 per user a month, and its inbox is €20 a month on top. Five people on Business with the inbox come to more than five Curviate accounts.
Run it on your own signals: 7 days of Automate, no card.
1. Curviate Automate: best for signal-led outreach on LinkedIn
Curviate Automate
Growth teams running 1 to 5 of their own LinkedIn accounts
$60 per LinkedIn account a month
Pros
- Contacts and signals in by API, webhooks out on accept and reply
- One Motion across the founder's and the team's accounts
- Drafts and scheduled posts keep your own profile active
Cons
- No email steps
- Not a data provider: bring the list from Clay, Sales Navigator or a CSV
Verdict: The pick when your stack already finds the accounts and LinkedIn is where the conversation starts.
The loop on Curviate's growth page is short. Clay enriches a row, RB2B spots a visitor or your n8n flow finds an account worth a message. Your stack sends that contact to Curviate's API and the right Motion picks them up. A Motion can also hold at a step until your stack sends the go, so a person can sit in a list until they are qualified.
On the way back, webhooks fire when someone accepts, replies or finishes a Motion. Your CRM moves the deal, your flow posts to Slack, and nobody copies a status by hand.

Three profiles share one list. Each person goes first to the account already connected to them, nobody gets an invitation from two of you, and people in another Motion or an open chat are skipped. An account that is still warming up takes fewer contacts until it is ready (multi-account).
People check your profile before they answer. Your AI agent can draft posts from your notes, and you schedule them from the calendar, so the founder's profile stays active in the weeks spent on calls.
2. PhantomBuster: best for scraping and enrichment
PhantomBuster
Teams that extract and enrich data from LinkedIn and 15+ other platforms
€69 a month (Start, flat)
Pros
- Data extraction from 15+ platforms
- Unlimited users on every plan
- Runs in the cloud, MCP server on every plan
Cons
- Execution hours and slots run out, then automations pause
- No unified inbox stated on its pricing page
Verdict: Strong for collecting data; Curviate is the better home for the outreach and the replies that follow.
Read more about PhantomBusterPhantomBuster started as a scraping toolkit and still leads with it: "Phantoms" are single automations, chained into workflows, across 15+ platforms. Every plan now lists LinkedIn outreach campaigns, lead warming and multiple LinkedIn accounts, plus an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT (PhantomBuster pricing).
The catch for a growth team is the meter. Scrapes and outreach draw on the same execution hours and slots, so a big extraction can leave Tuesday's follow-ups waiting for the clock. Curviate keeps outreach on its own track, per account, with replies in one inbox.
3. Waalaxy: best for a solo founder on one profile
Waalaxy
One founder prospecting from their own profile
€39 to €139 per user a month
Pros
- Cold email sequences on Business
Cons
- Multiple sender accounts only on Business
- Inbox is a €20 a month add-on
Verdict: Fine alone; once two teammates join, Curviate runs one Motion across all three accounts with the inbox included.
Read more about WaalaxyWaalaxy is built for one person. Pro is €39 per user a month on monthly billing, with 300 invitations, Advanced adds the API and Make, Zapier and n8n modules, and Business adds cold email and multiple sender accounts (Waalaxy pricing).
Its home and pricing pages do not mention conditions or webhooks. A growth team that wants a reply to update the CRM, or an n8n flow to start a sequence, gets both on Curviate Automate.
4. Clay and workflow builders: best for the data layer
Clay
Building enrichment tables and signals that feed other tools
Free plan; paid from $185 a month
Pros
- Provider waterfalls and Claygent research
- Unlimited seats and tables
- HTTP API and inbound webhooks on Growth
Cons
- LinkedIn invitations and messages not stated
- Actions and data credits are metered
Verdict: Keep Clay for finding and scoring accounts; send its rows to Curviate to start the LinkedIn side.
Clay is where many growth teams build their lists: waterfalls across data providers, an AI research agent, signals such as job changes, and its own email sequencer. Its Growth plan, $495 a month, adds HTTP API calls and webhooks (Clay pricing). The pricing page mentions LinkedIn only for ad audiences.
The same goes for n8n, Make or Zapier: they move data between tools and run nothing on LinkedIn themselves. Pair them with Curviate. Clay or your flow decides who is worth a message, and Curviate runs the invitation, the follow-up and the inbox. The n8n and LinkedIn guide shows three such workflows.
Why most teams stay on Curviate
- The stack stays in charge. Clay, RB2B or n8n decide who gets a message; Curviate takes the contact by API and reports every accept and reply by webhook.
- The warm path comes first. Each person is reached from the profile that already knows them, and no one is invited twice by your team.
- No meter to watch. $60 per account with the inbox, analytics and API included, and no execution hours, add-ons or credits that pause outreach mid-week.
| If this is you | Pick |
|---|---|
| Signals from your stack should start LinkedIn outreach on 1 to 5 accounts | Curviate Automate |
| Founder plus two teammates, one list, replies in one inbox | Curviate Automate |
| Scraping profiles, posts and data from many platforms | PhantomBuster |
| One founder, one profile, cold email next to LinkedIn | Waalaxy Business |
| Enrichment waterfalls and account scoring | Clay |
If your own code or agent should drive LinkedIn instead, the API options are compared in Curviate alternatives for builders.
