TL;DR
- The best lemlist alternative for teams whose outbound runs on LinkedIn is Curviate Automate: one Motion across every rep's own account.
- Curviate costs $60 per LinkedIn account a month, $300 for five, against $545 for five lemlist Multichannel seats.
- Curviate has no email steps. In exchange, each rep's account gets its own cloud browser, limits that stop the Motion, and one shared inbox.
If your replies come from LinkedIn and not from cold email, you are paying lemlist for an email engine you barely use. The lemlist alternatives below are ranked for a team of 1 to 5 reps who prospect on LinkedIn, and Curviate Automate comes first for that team. I build Curviate.

- 1Curviate AutomateLinkedIn-first teams running 1 to 5 reps' accounts
- 2HeyReachTeams that keep email in Instantly or Smartlead
- 3DripifyReps who want LinkedIn and email in one sequence
- 4ExpandiSingle accounts that want email follow-ups and a built-in warm-up
- 5WaalaxyOne person who mostly sends invitations
How we picked
People search for lemlist alternatives for two reasons: email deliverability, or LinkedIn. This list is for the second group. Five criteria decided the order:
- LinkedIn depth. Which steps a sequence can run, and which conditions it branches on.
- Several reps, one plan. Whether one campaign can run across every rep's account, and who reaches which contact.
- Account safety. Limits that stop the sending, working hours, warm-up, and how the tool connects to LinkedIn.
- Price at 1 to 5 accounts, on monthly billing, with the inbox and the API counted in.
- Email. Whether email steps exist, because some teams cannot drop them.
Email-first tools such as Instantly, Smartlead or Apollo are out of scope. If email is your main channel, they compete with lemlist on its home ground.
lemlist and the top three, side by side
| Feature | Curviate Automate | lemlist Multichannel | HeyReach | Dripify |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price per LinkedIn account, monthly | $60, everything included | $109 per user | $79 per sender | $79 per seat (Pro) |
| One campaign across every rep's account | Not stated on their site | Sending rotates across accounts | Not stated on their site | |
| How it connects to LinkedIn | Own cloud browser per account | Chrome extension, one per seat | Cloud, proxy per sender | Cloud, dedicated IP |
| Limits that stop the action, lower any | Sending limits in settings | Fixed weekly freeze | Not stated on their site | |
| Unified inbox in the price | ||||
| Email steps | Via Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison |
lemlist wins the email row, and it should: email is what it was built for. On the LinkedIn rows, the ones that decide a five-rep rollout, Curviate is the only tool that runs one plan across every account and stops each one at its limits.
What five LinkedIn accounts cost
lemlist bills per user, and its help center says each lemlist account connects to a single LinkedIn account. So five reps on LinkedIn means five Multichannel seats: $545 a month. The pricing page's "5 senders per user" does not change that count: the help center is explicit that one lemlist account connects one LinkedIn account, and extra profiles need their own seats. The same five accounts cost $300 on Curviate Automate.
The $300 on Curviate includes Motions, one inbox for all five accounts, analytics per step and per account, contacts and lists, drafts and scheduled posts, and the full API. Teammates and managers who do not send cost nothing, because you pay per connected account, never per person.
Try it on your own accounts: 7 days of Automate, no card.
1. Curviate Automate: best for LinkedIn-first teams
Curviate Automate
Sales teams and agencies running 1 to 5 reps' LinkedIn accounts
$60 per LinkedIn account a month
Pros
- One Motion across every rep's account
- Limits per account that stop the Motion
- Inbox, analytics, API, CLI and MCP included
Cons
- No email steps
Verdict: The pick when your replies come from LinkedIn and every rep has their own account.
A Motion holds invites, messages, profile visits, likes, follows and waits. It branches on accepted, not accepted and replied, tests message variants to see which text gets more replies, and stops when someone replies.
The difference from lemlist is what happens with five reps. One Motion runs across all five accounts. Contacts are shared, nobody gets an invitation from two of your reps, and contacts can go only to the account already connected to them, the warm path. People in another Motion or an open chat are skipped.

Each account runs in its own cloud browser with its own device profile, so nobody keeps a Chrome window open for the sequence to run. Limits for every action are set per account to its LinkedIn plan, Motions stop at each one, and you can lower any of them. Working hours follow each rep's timezone, and new or quiet accounts get a warm-up (safety).
Curviate has no email steps. That is a choice: the whole product is built around LinkedIn accounts and the people behind them. If email has to stay, keep your email tool for email and run LinkedIn here.
2. HeyReach: best for teams that keep a separate email tool
HeyReach
Teams that send email from Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison
$79 per sender a month (Growth)
Pros
- Steps that hand leads to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison
- Inbox, API, webhooks and MCP on Growth
Cons
- Weekly invite freeze you cannot override
- Who reaches which contact is not stated
Verdict: Close on LinkedIn; Curviate costs $95 less at five accounts and lets you route contacts to the rep who knows them.
Read more about HeyReachHeyReach is LinkedIn-first like Curviate, and its sequences can push a lead to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison. For a lemlist team that wants to split email and LinkedIn into two specialist tools, that is a clean handover.
Sending rotates across your accounts. Its pages do not say how it decides which sender reaches which person. On Curviate you choose: automatically, evenly, or only through accounts already connected to that contact.
3. Dripify: best for LinkedIn and email in one sequence
Dripify
Reps who want one sequence with LinkedIn and email steps
$79 per seat a month (Pro), one LinkedIn account each
Pros
- LinkedIn and email in the same sequence on every paid plan
- Inbox, Open API and MCP on Pro
- 7-day trial, no card
Cons
- Team management and step analytics only on Advanced ($99)
- No cross-account campaign stated
Verdict: The simplest swap if email must stay in the sequence; Curviate is cheaper and built for the team.
Read more about DripifyOf the five, Dripify is closest to lemlist's mix: LinkedIn and email in one sequence, on every paid plan. Each seat connects one LinkedIn account.
A team of five that wants team management and step analytics needs Advanced, which is $495 a month. On Curviate, analytics per step, per account and per variant come in the $300.
4. Expandi: best for email follow-ups on one account
Expandi
One account that wants LinkedIn plus email follow-ups and a built-in warm-up
$99 per account a month (Business)
Pros
- Email follow-ups inside multichannel sequences
- Dedicated country-based IP and profile auto warm-up
- Smart inbox and A/B message versions
Cons
- Highest entry price here with lemlist
- MCP still labelled beta
Verdict: Solid for one account with email; at five, Curviate is $195 a month less.
Read more about ExpandiExpandi runs in the cloud with a dedicated country-based IP per account and a built-in profile warm-up, and its sequences add email follow-ups to LinkedIn steps with an if/action builder.
At $99 per account, five reps cost $495. Curviate's API, CLI and hosted MCP server come in the $60; Expandi's MCP server is still labelled beta.
5. Waalaxy: best for one person sending invites
Waalaxy
One person who mostly sends invitations
From €39 per user a month (Pro, monthly billing)
Pros
- Cold email sequences on Business
Cons
- LinkedIn inbox is a €20 a month add-on
- Multiple sender accounts only on Business
Verdict: Fine for one person; a team pays for Business plus the inbox add-on, where Curviate includes both.
Waalaxy bills per user. On monthly billing Pro is €39, Advanced €99 and Business €139 a month. Cold email sequences and multiple sender accounts sit on Business, and the LinkedIn inbox costs €20 a month on top.
For one person who mostly sends invites, Pro covers it. For five reps sharing one plan and one inbox, the add-ons stack up, and Curviate includes both in the $60.
Where lemlist is still the right tool
- Email is your main channel. lemlist's Email plan sends 50,000 emails a month, and Curviate sends none.
- You want email and LinkedIn in one sequence with one vendor. lemlist runs both, with InMail and voice messages as steps. On Curviate, Motions can send InMail and voice notes, but have no email steps.
| If this is you | Pick |
|---|---|
| Five reps, replies come from LinkedIn, one plan for all of them | Curviate Automate |
| LinkedIn in one tool, email kept in Instantly or Smartlead | HeyReach |
| One rep, LinkedIn and email in one sequence | Dripify |
| Cold email is the main channel, LinkedIn is a side step | lemlist |
| One person who mostly sends invitations | Waalaxy |
LinkedIn does not permit automation tools, and its help center says members who use them "risk having their accounts restricted or shut down". No tool on this list removes that risk. What differs is what happens by default when an account gets into trouble.
Move LinkedIn first, keep email where it works
Start one Motion on one rep's account during the trial, and watch the results per step. If the replies hold up, connect the other four accounts and let the same Motion run across all of them. How sales teams run it day to day is on Curviate for sales, and the wider field is in the best LinkedIn automation tools.
