TL;DR

  • HeyReach is a multi-sender LinkedIn outreach tool with an official API and MCP server on its lowest paid plan, plus an official CLI. Curviate, a HeyReach alternative built for AI agents, is a LinkedIn API, CLI, MCP server and TypeScript SDK your own agent or software calls directly. Choose HeyReach for ready-made campaigns across many senders; choose Curviate when your agent should decide each LinkedIn action.
  • HeyReach's public OpenAPI file lists 88 operations. 44 of them work on HeyReach's own campaigns, leads, lists and blacklists; the LinkedIn actions themselves (connect, message, InMail, view, follow, like) run as sequence steps.
  • Curviate's OpenAPI document lists 159 operations: 130 LinkedIn actions and reads plus 29 developer endpoints. Search, posting, commenting, feed, notifications, company pages, groups and job postings are not in HeyReach's OpenAPI (Oct 2026).
  • Per LinkedIn account: HeyReach Growth USD 79 per month, or USD 63 per month billed yearly, under 10 senders. Curviate EUR 20 per month, or EUR 16 billed annually, excl. VAT. HeyReach's Agency plan gets to about USD 40 per sender per month at 25 senders, on monthly billing.

This HeyReach alternative page is for teams that already work with an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and want it to run LinkedIn itself. HeyReach is ahead of most campaign tools on interfaces: a public API, an MCP server and a CLI. What those interfaces mostly control is HeyReach's campaign engine, not LinkedIn directly. I build Curviate, so weigh this accordingly; every HeyReach fact below comes from its public pages and OpenAPI file, checked on October 2, 2026.

What is a good HeyReach alternative for AI agents?

For an AI agent that decides each LinkedIn action itself, Curviate fits; for ready-made campaigns across many senders, HeyReach does.

Choose HeyReach if:

  • You run outreach from many LinkedIn accounts, your own or your clients', and want one campaign spread across them. Teammates, VAs and client logins cost nothing extra; you pay per sender.
  • You want the campaign logic decided for you: a sequence builder with connection requests, messages, InMails, profile views, follows, post likes and email steps through Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison, plus a unified inbox.
  • You need agency features: workspaces per client, white-label on the Agency plan, HubSpot, Clay, Make, Zapier and n8n connections, and a dedicated residential proxy per sender on Growth.
  • You want a 14-day trial with 3 LinkedIn accounts and no card, and a product with a longer track record (HeyReach dates itself to 2023). Curviate's first release was in May 2026.

Choose Curviate if:

  • Your agent or your code should decide what happens on LinkedIn, one call at a time: who to search, which post to comment on, what to answer.
  • You need more LinkedIn actions callable directly than HeyReach's API offers: live search across people, companies, posts, jobs, groups and services; posting, commenting and reacting; the home feed and notifications; company page inboxes; job postings.
  • You want the lower price per account (HeyReach's flat Unlimited plan, USD 2,999 per month for up to 300 senders, only undercuts it at well over 100 senders), and you can live without a campaign UI, a sequencer, reviews, or ready-made n8n, Make and CRM connectors (all "coming soon").

Is HeyReach legit, and how does it compare with Curviate?

HeyReach is a documented, public product: it dates itself to 2023, publishes its prices per sender, documents its API in a public OpenAPI file and offers a 14-day trial with no card. Curviate is younger, first released in May 2026. As of October 2, 2026, from HeyReach's pricing page, help center and API docs, and Curviate's pricing and OpenAPI document. "Not in its OpenAPI" means not found in that file, not that the product lacks it.

What can the HeyReach API do?

Half of the HeyReach API's 88 operations (44) work on HeyReach's campaigns, leads, lists and blacklists, and most of the rest administer accounts, workspaces and webhooks; the LinkedIn actions run as sequence steps. HeyReach publishes its API reference and an OpenAPI 3.1 file at docs.heyreach.io/openapi.json. Authentication is an X-API-KEY header; the limit is 300 requests per minute. I counted the file by tag: 88 operations over 87 paths. Curviate's OpenAPI document, counted the same way, has 159. Grouped by what each operation works on:

The pattern is clear in HeyReach's own sequence schema. The step types are CONNECTION_REQUEST, MESSAGE, INMAIL, VIEW_PROFILE, FOLLOW, LIKE_POST and FIND_EMAIL, plus checks and email hand-offs. An agent using the API writes a sequence and adds leads; HeyReach performs the steps on its schedule, with at least 3 hours between two actions (sequence help). SendMessage needs a conversation id, so it answers threads that already exist. HeyReach's API is strong where it is built to be: connecting sender accounts by API, managing client workspaces, and webhooks on campaign events.

Reads differ as well. GetLead returns lead details for a profile URL, including HeyReach's email enrichments; the file does not say whether LinkedIn is read live, and I found no company or post read in it. In Curviate, a person-profile read inside its 12-hour default is answered from a per-workspace store; stored chats and messages are served at any age and refreshed when a message event says they changed (AGENTS.md). A read answered from the store sends no request to LinkedIn and spends none of the account's action budget. Reads take mode (cache_only never contacts LinkedIn) and max_age, and return observed_at and source (caching guide).

Can the HeyReach MCP server and CLI run LinkedIn for your agent?

The HeyReach MCP server and CLI run HeyReach for your agent, not LinkedIn directly. Per its MCP page and help article, each workspace gets its own MCP URL and key, and clients include Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Make, n8n and Clay. Its pricing page describes the use in its own words: agents that "split lead lists, create LinkedIn campaigns with custom messages, tag replies by sentiment and send them to your CRM". It does not publish a tool count.

The HeyReach CLI (v1.0.2, May 2026, per its releases repo) manages "campaigns, leads, lead lists, inboxes, LinkedIn accounts, webhooks, and workspace settings" and installs a skill for Claude Code. Among campaign tools, that is an unusually complete set of agent interfaces.

Curviate's CLI and hosted MCP server expose the LinkedIn actions themselves. The CLI prints JSON when piped, returns stable exit codes, trims output with --fields and shows a write before sending it with --preview. One command finds this week's posts on a topic, which an agent can then read, rank and comment on:

shell
# Find this week's LinkedIn posts about a topic
curviate search posts --keywords "LinkedIn MCP" --date-posted past_week --limit 20

The same action is a REST call, an MCP tool and an SDK method on one API key (interfaces). Nothing here is a campaign: if you want follow-up rules, your agent or Claude Code writes them, and an agent can build its own sequencing on top of these calls.

What is HeyReach's pricing, and is it worth it for an agent?

HeyReach's pricing starts with Growth at USD 79 per sender per month, USD 71 billed quarterly or USD 63 billed yearly; Curviate costs EUR 20 per account per month, excl. VAT. On both, one seat or sender is one connected LinkedIn account. From 10 senders HeyReach charges USD 59 per month, or USD 47 per month billed yearly (plans article). Agency covers 25 senders for USD 999 per month (USD 799 billed yearly), Unlimited up to 300 senders for USD 2,999 per month. API, webhooks and MCP are on every paid plan. HeyReach prices in USD, Curviate in EUR. Currencies are not converted.

AccountsHeyReach, monthlyHeyReach, billed yearlyCurviate, monthlyCurviate, billed annually
1USD 79USD 63 per monthEUR 20EUR 16 per month
5USD 395USD 315 per monthEUR 100EUR 80 per month
10USD 590USD 470 per monthEUR 200EUR 160 per month
25USD 999 (Agency)USD 799 per monthEUR 500EUR 400 per month

The price buys different things. HeyReach's includes the sequencer, the unified inbox, 100 one-time enrichment credits per sender and, on Growth, a dedicated residential proxy per sender; Agency and Unlimited ask you to bring your own proxies. Limits come with it: you can configure daily limits per action for each sender (sending limits), and HeyReach freezes an account at 200 actions a day (safety article). On connection requests its help articles differ: the safety article freezes an account near about 100 a week, a rule it says you cannot override; a newer article caps them at 200 a week per sender and up to 40 a day, with 25 as the default. Curviate's price includes every interface and no campaign logic. It meters nothing; each account has adjustable ceilings per action and a warm-up for new seats (safety). By default a crossed ceiling returns a warning; set the account's policy to enforce and the call is refused.

So HeyReach is worth it if you will use the campaign engine you pay for. If your agent does the planning, you pay for a planner it does not need.

What do you lose when you switch from HeyReach?

Switching from HeyReach to Curviate leaves campaign state, lists and tags, CRM mappings and the sequencing logic behind; your LinkedIn accounts move freely, because HeyReach only connects to them. What stays behind:

  • Campaign state. Which lead is on which step lives in HeyReach. Export leads and statuses and let running sequences finish, or prospects get a second first message.
  • Lists, tags, blacklists and enrichment results. Export them; Curviate keeps no lead lists of its own.
  • CRM sync and webhooks. HeyReach's native HubSpot sync and its webhook and Zapier mappings must be rebuilt. Curviate's CRM, n8n and Make connectors are "coming soon", so today that means webhooks or code.
  • The sequencing logic. Without a sequencer, your agent or your code decides every follow-up. If nobody will own that, stay on HeyReach.

How was this comparison made?

I read HeyReach's pricing page, help articles on plans, sequences, safety, sending and connection-request limits, MCP and webhooks, its CLI page and release repository, its API docs and its public OpenAPI file, all on October 2, 2026, and counted operations by tag in that file and in Curviate's OpenAPI document. I did not run a paid trial of HeyReach, so nothing here measures its delivery or reliability, and I used no review scores or self-reported figures. Curviate is my product: released in May 2026, without public reviews, with Sales Navigator and Recruiter in beta and requiring the matching LinkedIn licence.

When should an AI agent use Curviate instead of HeyReach?

Use Curviate when your agent should decide the work rather than feed a sequence. HeyReach gives an agent the controls of a well-built campaign engine. Curviate gives it LinkedIn: search, read, write and react, with limits per account. To try it, connect an account on the 3-day trial, no card required, and point Claude Code or Codex at the API, CLI, MCP or SDK.

Not affiliated with LinkedIn Corporation. HeyReach prices and features above are as published on its pages on October 2, 2026.

Your agent runs LinkedIn, not a campaign engine.
