What is Claude?

How Claude works with Curviate

Claude connects to Curviate as a custom connector over remote MCP. Add it once under Connectors (in a Team or Enterprise organization an Owner adds it and each member connects), turn it on for a chat from the + menu, and Claude asks before it calls a tool unless you choose Allow always.

Sign in and approve
A Curviate window opens. Sign in, choose All my Teams or one Team, and approve. Claude holds a token you can revoke, never your LinkedIn sign-in or API key.

Every plan, one connector on Free
Custom connectors over remote MCP work on Claude’s Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, in Claude and Claude Desktop. The Free plan holds one custom connector.

Allow always, for reads only
Curviate marks every reading tool read-only. Allow searches and profile reads freely, and keep writes such as send_message and send_connection_request on approval.

Research runs tools on its own
In Research, Claude can call connector tools without asking. Turn off Curviate’s writing tools in the Search and tools menu first, or leave the connector off for that chat.

Fewer tools, better picks
Claude sees Curviate’s default toolsets. Ask it to call list_toolsets and enable_toolsets for Sales Navigator, Recruiter or company pages, or pin a set on the connector URL.

Questions about Curviate x Claude

Does Claude see my LinkedIn password?

No. Your LinkedIn sign-in stays encrypted with Curviate and is never shared with an AI app. Claude gets access to your Curviate actions in the Teams you choose, and can ask you before each write.

Can Claude send messages without asking?

Only if you allow it. Every writing action is marked as one, so Claude can ask you first, and your daily limits apply either way.

Can I take access back?

Yes. Revoke the app in Curviate’s settings, or rotate the API key it uses, and it stops at once.

Can my whole team use the same connector?

Yes. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds Curviate once for the organization, and each member connects with their own Curviate sign-in, so everyone works from the Accounts they may use.
